How does it feel to offer hands-on support in yoga classes? We will briefly discuss the silent presence of past trauma and how to discern when best not to touch students, as well as the nervous system’s response to limited-touch over these past couple of years. Then we’ll practice simple touch with partners to develop observation skills, receive feedback on touch, and build confidence in the practice of giving and receiving as you learn to better help your students find joy and ease amidst the challenge of their practice.
